Cancellation Policy
Turning off a future renewal is not the same as exercising a withdrawal right. This page explains the difference and what happens to Premium access.
Renews monthly until cancelled.
12 months prepaid. No automatic renewal.
1. Monthly subscription
The monthly plan renews automatically each month until you cancel renewal. You can cancel online at any time. After cancellation, there is no new monthly charge and Premium remains available until the end of the period already paid.
2. Annual plan
The annual plan is prepaid for 12 months and does not automatically renew. There is therefore no future annual renewal to turn off. Premium ends after 12 months unless you make a new purchase.
3. How to cancel
Authenticated users can cancel monthly renewal from the Subscription area in the app. Cancellation is not conditioned on a phone call. Once processed, Digestia shows the updated subscription status and the date until which Premium remains available.
4. Cancellation vs withdrawal
If you are inside an applicable cooling-off period and want to undo the purchase itself, use the withdrawal form. Normal cancellation only prevents future charges; withdrawal is a notice to undo the contract and may trigger a refund under the refund policy and applicable law.
5. Renewal and mandatory consumer rules
Mandatory consumer rights prevail over this policy. For consumers in the Netherlands, online subscriptions must be cancellable online and statutory notice/renewal rules remain applicable. Digestia structures the monthly plan for cancellation before the next renewal and avoids automatic renewal on the annual plan.
6. What happens to your data
Cancelling Premium does not delete your account or history. You return to the free plan and keep access to free features and your own records. Data deletion, export or correction are handled separately in the privacy dashboard.
7. Failed cancellation or charge after cancellation
If a charge occurs after a cancellation was effectively processed, contact us promptly. We will investigate and apply any correction or refund rights that are due.
